What is
Intercultural Training?
Is it learning how to bow in Japan or how to greet with a cheek kiss in France? Well… kind of—but it’s also so much more.
Think of intercultural training as a user manual for human connection across cultures. It helps you understand why people from different parts of the world think, speak, and work the way they do—and how to navigate those differences without stepping on toes (or accidentally offending someone with your overly enthusiastic American handshake or a German stare).
in broad terms, intercultural training teaches you to communicate across cultural borders in ways that are appropriate to the other person and effective for you.
It also helps you make sense of both the small quirks and big frustrations that can come up when working or living with people from different backgrounds.
Best of all? It’s fun, eye-opening, and surprisingly useful in real life.

What is
Arrive New Orleans?
Arrive New Orleans empowers international professionals, exchange students, expats—and the locals who welcome them—by providing practical tools to navigate the challenges of living, working, and communicating across cultures.
Our mission is to help newcomers communicate confidently, adapt to new cultural contexts, and collaborate across borders with ease. At the same time, we support local individuals, teams, and organizations in developing the cultural awareness and communication skills needed to connect successfully with global visitors, colleagues, and communities.
We do this through personalized, real-world training—offered both online and in person—that blends theory with hands-on tools rooted in experiential learning. In addition to cultural sessions, we provide comprehensive settling-in packages and relocation support to ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved.
